University welcomes back dean finalist for additional visit

The University of Colorado Denver invited Colorado School of Public Health dean finalist David Goff, MD, PhD to return to Colorado for an additional visit and discussions with university leadership. Dr. Goff will visit the Denver and Anschutz Medical Campus February 29-March 2, 2012.

Save the Date – Amendment 35: Getting a Good Healthy Restart to Funding March 2, 2012

Join the Colorado School of Public Health Center for Public Health Practice for an interactive symposium “Amendment 35: Getting a Good Healthy Restart to Funding” on March 2, 2012. Discussion topics include: history of Amendment 35, public health now, and moving forward-creating a shared vision.

Save the date – 3rd Annual Public Health Symposium April 4, 2012

Attend the 3rd Annual Public Health Symposium “From community to care: Redefining the Public Health Workforce” on April 4, 2012, from 8:30 AM – 4 PM, in the Lory Student Center.

The public Health Symposium on is hosted by the Colorado School of Public Health’s graduate degree program in public health program located at Colorado State University, and the Center for Public Health Practice. There is no cost to attend. Register online at www.publichealth.colostate.edu.

National Children’s Study | Ask the Expert

Four times per year, The National Children’s Study (NCS) in Douglas County invites the community to attend a free expert series Q & A and learn about specific topics related to family health. The topic theme for this series is Nutrition, as March is National Nutrition Month.
