The Colorado School of Public Health is accepting applications and nominations for the position of Chair for the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics. This is a 12-month, tenure-track, Associate/Full Professor appointment with the primary academic appointment held at the University of Colorado Denver’s Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo.

Following the generosity of department leaders Dr. John Adgate and Dr. Lee Newman, the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health is moving forward to raise funds for a new Master of Public Health student scholarship.

The Colorado School of Public Health’s Manager of Career & Employer Relations Teresa Kostenabuer has been selected to present at the 2013 Student Affairs Conference.

The Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC) recently announced the recipients of the 2013 Pilot Projects grant program. The Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC) is one of 18 Education and Research Centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control/National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (CDC/NIOSH).

Congratulations to the 2013 Delta Omega Alpha Upsilon Chapter inductees. Delta Omega is the national public health honorary society, representing over 14,000 members across 70 chapters, including the Alpha Upsilon Chapter at the Colorado School of Public Health. Inductees are selected for their outstanding contributions to public health education, research and practice.

Annually the Colorado School of Public Health announces names of faculty, students and community partners whose past contributions rose to the level of excellence. This year the School is pleased to announce the following individuals as 2012-2013 School Award Recipients. These individuals will be formally recognized during the annual Convocation ceremony Thursday, May 23 from 3-5 pm in the Anschutz Medical Campus Education Building 2 Auditorium.
