The Colorado School of Public Health announced Wednesday, May 9, 2012 that it will receive $100,000 for an innovative new vaccine program through Grand Challenges Explorations, created by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to enable individuals worldwide to test unorthodox ideas that address persistent health and development challenges.

Following a recently authored study, Lisa McKenzie, PhD, MPH, alumna and research associate in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, testified Wednesday, May 2 before the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources’ Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources.
